Part of a group of negatives taken for February 14, 1965, Arkansas Gazette article "'Igloos' Turned Into Survival Units," E5:2. Magazines, or "igloos," each 75 feet long and 25 feet wide, stored powder and other explosives when the navy manufactured munitions at the Shumaker Naval Ammunition Depot near Camden, Ouachita County, Arkansas. The buildings now hold emergency supplies, enough for 90,000 persons for two weeks. Don Powell of International Paper displays a few of the magazines.
